In December 1968, Sport Illustrated featured Davidson (Mike Maloy) on it's cover as one of the three teams (UNC & Kentucky also featured) that could challenge John Wooden's UCLA Bruins and their stranglehold on the national title.

I'll tell you how; you run a well written, highly informative blog. Plus, as you mentioned before Davidson is a small school and you happen to be one of the few voices giving us insight into Wildcat Basketball. Although, I have family ties to OSU and will be pulling for the Buckeyes, I have to give you a tip of the hat for a job well done and good luck to the Wildcats tomorrow.
If you have spare tickets and want to ride to Dayton, I would be glad to let you roll with the Bushido on a road trip. Just make sure you get a kitchen pass from the better half. I don't have tickets but I am itching to get out of town. I have heard from friends in family in the Buckeye state that tickets are going for over 500 bucks! Sad for us modest
