Toys For Tots Big Winners at Davidson-Charlotte Doubleheader
DAVIDSON, N.C. — For the third straight year, the Student Athlete Advisory Committees of Davidson College and UNC Charlotte joined up for a fundraiser for the Toys for Tots program. The two schools combined to collect just over 2,000 toys for the charity.
While Davidson won both the women's and men's games on the court, Charlotte nipped the host school in the friendly competition to gather more toys for the first time. In addition, anyone that brought a toy or a five-dollar donation received a voucher for a free ticket to any future Davidson home game.
