The women are off to a tremendous start this year (tied for best start in school history!). I wanted to give the ladies some much deserved attention on here, so here you go!

Mitchell's 23 Leads Wildcat Women Past Charlotte, 75-69

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Senior Jessica Mitchell equaled a career-high with 23 points and redshirt junior Katie Hamilton added 18 to lead the Davidson Wildcats to a 75-69 victory over the Charlotte 49ers Saturday evening at Belk Arena. The win was the fifth straight for Davidson (8-2) and ended a personal three-game losing streak against the 49ers. Charlotte dropped to 4-5 on the season.

Davidson's 8-2 start through the first 10 games, matches the 1973-74 and 1974-75 teams as the best start in school history. In addition, the Wildcats 4-0 record at home so far is the best start at Belk Arena since the 1996-97 squad went 4-0 to start the year.
