Davidson Signs 4 Recruits
DAVIDSON, N.C. - William Archambault, Bryant Barr, Stephen Curry and DanNelms have signed National Letters of Intent with Davidson College, head men's basketball coach Bob McKillop announced Wednesday. The four declaredtheir intentions during the NCAA early signing period.

Stephen Curry, Ht: 6-1.5 Wt: 160
The son of Dell Curry, former Virginia Tech and NBA standout. He's continued to get bigger and better each year. Shoots it well. The word here is "upside" and he's got it. This young man is a big time student who will play his best basketball in college as he matures physically.

William Archambault: Ht: 6-6 Wt: 215
Good outside shooter who still needs to become more adept at taking the ball to the basket. Excellent in classroom.

Bryant Barr: Ht: 6-4 Wt: 175
Bryant Barr, a 6-foot-4 guard/forward, averaged 23 points, six rebounds and five assist per game as a junior.

Falmouth hoop star picks Davidson







Dan Nelms: Ht: 6-10
As a post-grad student at Phillips Exeter Academy located in Exeter, N.H., Nelms is scoring more than 10 points and grabbing eight rebounds per outing in his final season.
