Upcoming game at Furman

I get to this game every year, since it's played in my hometown. I grew up pulling for Furman, but that obviously changed when I went to Davidson.

There's a preview of the game on the Furman website.

There's also a pre-game release for the Furman/Davidson game on their website (PDF Format).

Common opponent: Incidentally, Furman has also played Missouri. Furman lost 72-63.

TV COVERAGE: Also, according the the Furman webiste, Comcast-Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) will televise the Furman vs. Davidson matchup live at 2:00 p.m.

A little editorial commentary:
Timmons Arena, which is the relatively new on-campus facility for basketball games at Furman, is quite possibly the absolute worst places EVER to watch a game. It was conceived as a "multi-purpose arena", which translates into "not good for anything". The visibility is obstructed in many places and the seating arrangement is awful. It's such an odd place that it defies description. I do not recommend going to anything in this arena, unless you are going to support the Wildcats (as I will be on Saturday). Here's the layout (the basketball court is set up where the floor is shown):

Strange, isn't it?
