Davidson Men Are On A Red-Hot Streak
"DAVIDSON - The Davidson men's basketball team has won 27 straight Southern Conference regular-season games and shows no signs of slowing down.
"Davidson has won its first three conference games by an average of 29 points and has only trailed for two minutes, 33 seconds out of the 120 minutes played in those games.
"Davidson has 13 conference games remaining in the regular season, but the Wildcats have a chance at a second straight 16-0 mark.
"Davidson's current RPI ranking -- used by the NCAA to determine a team's strength -- is 59. No other conference team has a rating in the top 120. And nine of the 10 other conference teams have an RPI of 178 or greater."
