Comment on last season

Last year was a very exciting year for Wildcat basketball. While they were not able to run the table in the conference tourney, the team did run the table with a perfect 16-0 conference schedule during the regular season. That is a rarity in college basketball. Then, to top it off, the team received a bid to the NIT. Beating VCU and the SW Missouri State in the NIT was a great deal of fun for those of us following the team. If I'm not mistaken, those were the first post-season victories for Davidson since the days of Lefty and Terry Holland. The team then followed up those wins with a trip to Maryland to play the Terps. The Wildcats jumped out to a 16 point lead in the first half before finally falling in the end.


We are all very proud of what you all accomplished last year. For the members of last year's team that are still there....do it again this year!
