Wildcats' Curry finds better half
Freshman guard scores 21 after halftime

BRETT HONEYCUTT

CHARLESTON - Freshman Stephen Curry said his shot didn't feel right in the first half, but everyone told him to keep shooting.
He did, and he scored 21 of his game-high 24 points after halftime to help Davidson to its 18th victory in 19 games.
The Wildcats (22-4, 13-1 Southern) beat College of Charleston 73-63 Monday night in front of a rowdy, sold-out John Kresse Arena crowd of 3,784 -- more than 700 beyond capacity and the fifth-largest attendance in the 24-year-old arena's history.
