In December 1968, Sport Illustrated featured Davidson (Mike Maloy) on it's cover as one of the three teams (UNC & Kentucky also featured) that could challenge John Wooden's UCLA Bruins and their stranglehold on the national title.
As a Davidson alum ('94), I am interested in what is happening with the basketball team. Since Davidson is such a small school, there is very little coverage. I thought I might try to consolidate what little coverage our team gets. I hope you will enjoy.

Glorious! I truly enjoyed almost getting evicted from my Apartment due to my impassioned cheering from my place in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Suprisingly, i'm the only Cat's fan in town and the locals would rather watch Badger women's basketball at a Sports Bar then switch to Davidson's game. Anyway, great job up dating the blog! I hope you'll be posting game recaps into April...you know what that would mean!
