Wildcats roll past Central Connecticut State, 91-64

Sander Leads 'Cats to 91-64 victory with 26 Points

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Junior forward Thomas Sander connected on 12-of-17 from the floor for a career-high 26 points as Davidson cruised to a 91-64 victory over Central Connecticut State on Sunday afternoon in the final of three games in the John Thompson Foundation Challenge hosted by the University of Michigan. As a team the Wildcats shot 55 percent from the floor to improve to 2-1 on the season, while CCSU fell to 0-3.

Men's Hoops Drops to 0-3 on the Season on Sunday
Ann Arbor, MI - Junior guard Tristan Blackwood and senior guard Javier Mojica combined for 37 points and seven threes but the Blue Devils fell to Davidson, 91-64, on Sunday afternoon. With the loss Central Connecticut drops to 0-3 on the season while Davidson improves to 2-1. The game was the third in three days for each team at the John Thompson Challenge held on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The Blue Devils return to action on Saturday on the road at New Hampshire beginning at noon.
