In December 1968, Sport Illustrated featured Davidson (Mike Maloy) on it's cover as one of the three teams (UNC & Kentucky also featured) that could challenge John Wooden's UCLA Bruins and their stranglehold on the national title.
As a Davidson alum ('94), I am interested in what is happening with the basketball team. Since Davidson is such a small school, there is very little coverage. I thought I might try to consolidate what little coverage our team gets. I hope you will enjoy.

The Wildcats have an experienced and tough defense but must make it happen on the offensive end of the court. The front court needs to finish the chippies that result in the overplay on Curry and Richards and the team must hit its foul shots.
