In December 1968, Sport Illustrated featured Davidson (Mike Maloy) on it's cover as one of the three teams (UNC & Kentucky also featured) that could challenge John Wooden's UCLA Bruins and their stranglehold on the national title.
As a Davidson alum ('94), I am interested in what is happening with the basketball team. Since Davidson is such a small school, there is very little coverage. I thought I might try to consolidate what little coverage our team gets. I hope you will enjoy.

Beyond chills, into the realm of "Goose Bumps" KAO'71
That was as excited as I have been in 20 years. When Curry hit that top-of-the-key jumper in River's face, I exploded! Great job by all the players. Curry was legend, Richards was flawless, MPG was a one-man full court press a la Scottie Pippen, and the post players were 100% asses and elbows. WHAT AN EXCITING WEEKEND!

not just chills - my eyes still tear up
