R E M's manager is a UGa law professor and Davidson grad '78 (and an SAE) -- Bert Downs. Bert is good friends with Davidson Ath. Director Jim Murphy.

I saw Bertis in the airport not long ago and we had a long conversation about Davidson basketball. Fantastic guy and a huge, huge Davidson fan and supporter.
