Now I have to agree. That was totally intended, blatant and deserved immediate ejection. Unfortunately, just as in other athletic contests, the eyes of the referees can not catch every infraction. I suspect they reacted more to the aftermath (Sander flat on his back on the floor) than to any obsrvation of how he got there.
A co-worker (whose name rhymes with Jee-ven) pointed out to me that Gwynne caught a suspension for this...but levied by the coach, NOT the SoCon. Just one game.
